Security Risk Analysis (15-min Security Check)


This self-assessment consists of 25 questions across 9 information security categories. The purpose of the self assessment is to provide a quick snapshot into the security controls within your organization and indicate potential areas of improvement. This online tool should be used as a starting point to better understand your organization’s ability to comply with HIPAA, HITECH and the Meaningful Use Risk Analysis requirement. By itself it does not provide a total solution to the assessment, remediation and compliance needs of healthcare organizations.

Secure Health Information Exchange

CRANBURY, NJ, July 21, 2010 -- BluePrint Healthcare IT www.blueprinthit.com announces two new programs that prepare Health Information Exchanges (HIE) and Hospital Systems for secure exchange of information. With the changes to the HIPAA regulations as a result of the HITECH Act, HIEs and users of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems are required to ensure privacy and security of patient information. HIE Secure and EMR Secure address privacy and security issues for protected health information (PHI).
